About the Solution Architect Position:

We are on a massive growth path. The application that has been serving our business for many years which is built using .Net full stack is growing phenomenally. We follow Agile SCRUM methodology and use Azure DevOps for CI/CD. Recently we started moving to Microsoft Azure cloud.

In future, we intend to implement more cloud features, microservices, analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

We are augmenting our solution engineering team with a solution architect.

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Solution Architect who can

Work with the client to gather and understand the scope and requirements.
Arrive at the functional impact to the application(s)
Document the requirements covering functional and non-functional aspects of the application like performance, scalability, compatibility etc.
Work closely with development team to provide the required inputs for development and clarify queries as they arise
Validate the application changes and provide sign off
Provide application demo to client and other prospects
Work as a functional/technical expert for preparing proposals and estimates for new project opportunities

Solution Architect Skills:

Must-to-Have Skills:

Functional and non-functional requirements documentation for web-based, mobile applications and APIs
Maintain product backlog
Good in SQL queries
Knowledge of UI/UX best practices
Working experience in Azure DevOps, MS Office Tools
Very good communication skill
Ability to lead a team of solution engineers

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience in EdTech domain
Experience in other Azure cloud services like Azure BLOB storage, Azure functions, Azure SQL etc.
Experience in UML, Balsamiq

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have completed BE / BTech / MSc. / MCA Computer Science
8+ years of relevant experience

Chennai

Work timing:

11 AM – 8 PM. Flexibility to stretch if required.
